How To Run an .srt File on VLC
1. Click on the VLC Player icon to open the program.
2. Select Tools menu
3. Click the option Preferences.
4. After you have selected Subtitles/OSD Icon
5. Go to Universal (UTF-16) option available in the drop-down list of Default encoding.
6. One more option, go to Arial Unicode MS option available in the drop-down list of Font.
7. After you have to click on Save button.
8. Now you can play any SRT file.
